the connection movement
Connection Camp is hosted by The Connection Movement.
The Connection Movement is an oasis and playground for connection. The ever-growing International community comes together to explore ways of seeing, connecting, and appreciating yourself and others at a deeper level through social, workshop, and retreat settings.
Our gatherings and trainings engage vulnerability, earnest connection and playing full out. Newcomers are welcomed with open arms and do not need to have prior experience.
Founded in 2012, The Connection Movement is directed and facilitated by Amy Silverman, whose background and training include both range and depth in the worlds of Theatre and Music, 5Rhythms and Ecstatic Dance, Multi-Disciplinary Arts Curriculum Development, NonViolent Communication, Circling, Authentic Relating, Ken Wilber’s Integral Theory, and multiple approaches to Mindfulness.
OFFERINGS
Some highlight experiences hosted by The Connection Movement include large-scale Eye Contact Experiments in NYC reaching nearly 7000 strangers over 5 years and weekly Circling in New York (a globally-growing relational meditation practice). She is currently focused on expanding to the Chicago-area.
